Ali Tredinnick is Head of Commercial at 15below, a Brighton-based software company that builds passenger communication systems for airlines and airports. He joined in 2014 as Business Development Manager and became Head of Business Development in 2019. His remit covers global account management, sales, marketing and events.

Over those years he has worked with airlines including British Airways, Lufthansa, Etihad and Cathay Pacific on how they speak to passengers before, during and after a journey, with a focus on disruption. He speaks at industry events including Aviation Festival Asia and the World Aviation Festival, and took part in IATA’s passenger experience webinar series in 2020. He argues that automation works best when it supports the people handling a disruption, and that passengers and their families should never be left without an update.

Before 15below, Ali spent five years as Chief Operating Officer and Sales Manager at Digicave, a creative technology company working with agencies and global brands. Earlier roles include sales and business development at Nido Marketing in Brighton and business management at NatWest.
